A New Chapter: Proudly Supporting Sun Peaks with Quality, Inclusive Care

We are excited to announce a new chapter in our journey as we step into the Sun Peaks community to support with quality, inclusive childcare early 2025.

Over the past year, the Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality and their team at the Sun Peaks Community Daycare have made significant strides in creating a vibrant and welcoming childcare center that has quickly become a valued resource for local families. We’re excited to build on that work by contributing our experience and resources, further enhancing the center’s impact.

How we'll contribute

• Streamlined Systems to Support Families:
  We know that families lead busy lives, and smooth operations are key to making their childcare experience seamless. Our easy-to-use, transparent systems for enrollment, parent billing, and communication are designed to reduce stress and keep families informed and supported.

• Centralized Administrative Support to Empower Staff:
  To allow our staff to focus more on the children, the Society will take on key administrative duties. With the help of online payroll and reporting tools, we’ll streamline operations and ensure that as the center grows, the administrative burden remains manageable and efficient.

• Nurturing the Learning Environment:
  We are committed to creating a dynamic and inspiring learning space. This includes building a collection of high-quality, open-ended, and inclusive learning materials that encourage creativity while reducing reliance on plastic toys. The Sun Peaks center will also have access to our extensive learning library in Kamloops, allowing for the regular rotation of resources to keep the learning environment fresh and engaging for every child.

• Operational Support to Maintain Excellence:
  We hold ourselves to the highest standards of licensing compliance, health and safety, and child guidance. Our goal is to support our staff by providing the resources, training, and professional development they need to thrive. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, we ensure that our team is equipped to provide the best possible care for the children.

• Healthy, Nourishing Meals:
  With extensive experience in providing nutritious, inclusive snacks and meals, we are dedicated to supporting children’s growth and development. Our culinary team prioritizes balanced, homemade meals that are both delicious and nourishing. Over time, we look forward to contributing to the center's healthy snack schedule.
