Last year Variety funded over 780 private assessments for children, unlocking critical government funding for essential therapies and other resources. While Variety aims to support as many families as possible, they cannot guarantee funding for every application. Please ensure that your child has been referred by a healthcare professional for the public waitlist before applying for a private assessment. Variety only funds private autism assessments provided by a Variety Partner Provider, which offer a charitable rate for Variety families.

All across BC, hundreds of children and youth are denied the opportunity to participate in amateur sports due to one simple fact: lack of funds.
As a privately funded charity, we are able to get dollars into the hands of those who need it most, quickly and effectively. We help families bear the expense of having their children participate in organized sports because we believe that all kids should have the chance to play.
