By engaging with local individuals, organizations, and businesses, we enrich our programs and offer children a diverse range of learning experiences. We value the talents and knowledge of our community members and are always looking for ways to bring their expertise into our centres to enhance the educational journey of the children in our care.

Community Member Volunteering

• Special Visits from Talented Community Members: We are always looking for special community members to share their experiences, knowledge, and skills with the children. Whether you're a local sports hero, musician, actor, naturalist, cultural group member, or expert in another field, your visit will contribute to broadening our children's learning and development.

• Musicians: Share your musical talents with our children during a musical pop-up session. It’s a fun and engaging way to inspire creativity and cultivate a love for music in young children.
  

  
• • Woodworkers: If you’re handy with tools, we would love your help with woodworking projects such as building outdoor playhouses, creating a theatre space, or repairing furniture and broken learning materials.

• Felt Story Cutter-outers: Support our learning programs by cutting out felt story pieces at home. This is a wonderful at-home activity for volunteers with a creative touch who want to help enrich our children's storytelling experience.

How Businesses Can Get Involved

• Corporate Service Days: Spend a day volunteering as a team to assist with important projects at our centres. Tasks could include building or repairing outdoor play structures, or helping with general upkeep. Corporate service days are a great way to give back to the community while promoting teamwork.

• Corporate Days of Giving: We would love for your company to choose us for your next corporate day of giving! Your support will make a significant impact. Due to government limitations on fee increases (3% max), we rely on community support to meet rising costs for supplies, food, and program materials that are far outpacing that 3%. Corporate involvement can help ensure we continue offering high-quality care and education to the children we serve.
